FACE Children's Center is a very busy place with many parents coming and going. In order to make the transition to and from the center a smooth one, please follow these guidelines.

• Park your car in the lined spaces in the parking lot. No cars should be driving in the lane near the building. No cars should be parked at the curb of the building. Do not drive down the driveway. Parking lot speed is 5 miles per hour. Please do not leave your car running. It's harmful to the environment and while children are with their parents...we still want to be very careful.


• Walk down the driveway to the FACE entrance (opposite the playground)


• Help your child hang up his/her coat and backpack. Then bring your child to his/her teacher. Before 8:30 the entire school is in the "BIG ROOM." At 8:30, the teachers bring the children to their classrooms. Children enrolled in our half day or three quater day progams should arrive at 8:45 or 9:00. All children should arrive at school by 9:10. Please call if you will arrive late. (508)653-7966, an answering machine will take your message.


• Teachers like to greet the children and are available to communicate with parents about any health issues, changes in routines, or pertinent personal issues. This is not the time for a conference. Our teachers can accept phone calls during naptime from 1:00 - 2:00 and will always adjust their schedules for a conference.


• Some children like to wave good-bye at the windows. Find out how your child would like to say good-bye to you. Please do not rush this process. Parents and kids will have better days if they don't have rushed good-byes.


• Upon arriving to the center in the afternoon, you will find your child in the play yard or inside the classroom. If you need to speak with a teacher at this time, please keep your child with you.


• Children are not allowed to enter or exit the building alone.


• Only parents and the people listed on the Authorization and Consent form will be allowed to take your child. Parents must give us prior notice if sometime listed on the authorization form is picking up his or her child. We will accept verbal or written notice. This person must show identification. We will make no exceptions. We will not release children to anyone under the age of sixteen.
